A Blast from the Past!

First broadcast in 1965, Thunderbirds became one of Britain's most beloved children's television programmes, following the adventures of International Rescue and the Tracy family.

Created by Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, the series introduced audiences to some of television's most memorable vehicles, including Thunderbird 2, the mighty green transport aircraft, and Thunderbird 3, the iconic red space rocket.

Thunderbirds enjoyed a huge resurgence in popularity during the early 1990s, introducing a new generation of children to the adventures of International Rescue through television repeats, toys and merchandise.
